Where will my workplace be?
Our areas of operation are mainly concentrated in three locations: Normal office work takes place in our shop in the Nürburgring Infocenter. Here, customers can book RaceTaxi rides, buy merchandise and get to know the Nordschleife in the simulator. RaceTaxi rides start at the entrance of the Nordschleife. We are always present here when the Nordschleife is open for tourist drive sessions. As a third location, we also have the paddock for the Nürburgring Endurance Series (NLS) adjustments. During these test times for the racing teams, we also offer taxi rides.
How big is the team?
Our core team currently consists of 4 employees. In addition, we have a pool of temporary workers and drivers who help us in realizing our services. To get to know the team , visit our About Us page.
Can I start with you as a driver?
In order to qualify as a RaceTaxi driver, many requirements must be fulfilled. The Nürburgring sets a minimum age of 27 years. You should also have a Nordschleife license and many years of experience racing at the Nürburgring Nordschleife. Furthermore, they must be fluet in German and English.
What do you do during the winter break when the Nordschleife is closed?
The winter break is used to prepare for the next season. Of course, working hours are much more relaxed and flexible. This time is also a very good time to reduce accumulated overtime.
Can I also drive the cars?
No. The cars are driven exclusively by our drivers on the Nordschleife. In exceptional cases, transfer trips may have to be taken over, but use by employees on the racetrack is excluded.
